Here is What is Happening.....
In November, I was asked to be the principal designer on a reality techno home makeover show - Fox's answer to "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" sponsored by Verizon FiOS giving two lucky Pittsburgh families the techno upgrades for their home
I had the opportunity to design and enhance the rooms that the new upgrades were going into - it was a wonderful experience and gave me a behind the scenes look of the designer shows. It gave me a new appreciation for the work that goes into them under the time alloted!
The cast, the crew and the families were all wonderful to work with and I couldnt have done with without our redesign crew of Beth, Artie, Ed and Jimmy !

Westmoreland County Professional Organizers including myself, and fellow organizers, Jody Adams & Maureen Balko decided to team up and sponsor our own "Organizing Makeover Contest" where people send us their photos of their most cluttered space and a short story of how it got that way, and why they want us to organize them. We offer 12 FREE HOURS of organizing to the winner, who we feel, needs our help the most. They say "Pictures speak 1,000 words" and we always have worthy contestants.

Celebrating 20 years as the Organizing Authority, the National Association of Professional Organizers have taken GO Week in October to claim january as National "Get Organized" Month as of 2005!
NAPO members all over the country are raising public awareness of the benefits of getting organized and hiring a professional organizer.
According to NAPO president, Barry Izsak, "January is perfect for Get Organized Month because people often make getting organized one of their New Year's Resolutions. Our goal is to let people know there is help in reaching those goals".

Dress for Success with Curves & NAPO-Pittsburgh!
We partnered up with local Curves Fitness Centers offering their qualified members a Grand prize drawing of 10 FREE Hours by a team of specialists in several areas including, photo organization, kitchen organization, paper management, time management, life coaching, and basement/attic/closet decluttering.
Once again, we offered free consultations to local members who entered the drawing , but we also asked that members look to their closets to start the benefits of being organized by helping a worthy cause like Dress for Success.

each time they worked out! choose the lucky area winners!

I cleared out and rearranged Gerri's basement for better function and helped her let go of old things and gave her the incentive to put years of her artwork into a book she can save without taking up tons of storage space!

We linked with local Curves for every time they came in to work out the were entered into a drawing to win an organizing makeover
I am proud to announce our local Murrysville & Penn Hills Curves owned by mother-daughter team, Barb Terek & Tammy Canut decided to offer their members additional prizes to reach their goals. In addition to the local drawing of a "One Day, One Room GO Session", they also got One Month FREE Membership.
In addition, Murrysville was lucky enough to have a donation added to the Grand Prize of a basic closet system by Tom Ferri's Closet Make-Overs.
Winner was: Judy Komarinski of Greensburg,Pa.
